To keep a floral dress looking new, hand-wash it in cold water or dry-clean it, never tumble dry, and hang it to dry away from direct sun. Proper care protects both the fabric's drape and the brightness of the print. Here is our simple routine.
Washing
- Hand-wash in cold water with a gentle detergent, or dry-clean.
- Turn the dress inside out to protect the print.
- Do not wring or scrub — press the water out gently.
- Always check the care label inside your garment first.
Drying
Never tumble dry — heat shrinks woven fabric and dulls colour. Hang to dry or lay flat, out of direct sunlight, because sun fades floral prints over time.
Ironing and steaming
Use a cool iron or, better, a handheld steamer. Steaming is gentler on prints and quick to refresh a dress before an event. Iron inside out if needed.
Storing
- Hang structured and corset styles to preserve the bodice shape.
- Drape heavier maxis over a padded hanger to avoid shoulder bumps.
- Keep dresses out of damp wardrobes and give florals room to breathe.
Travel tips
Our lightweight woven fabric travels well. Roll rather than fold to limit creasing, and hang your dress in the bathroom during a hot shower to steam out travel wrinkles.
